Edinburgh Road Congregational Church |
| This church occupied the site now used as the car park for Zurich
Insurance. It contained a Binns organ of 1880. The organ was dismantled
and put into storage but it was discovered that a lot of pipe work and
trackers were badly damaged when attempting to rebuild it. The specification has been lost but reference to 2 Swell reeds, a Great trumpet and two 16ft stops on the pedal would indicate the make-up to be thus: Swell: 8, 8, 8, 4, iii, 8, 8 Great: 8, 8, 8, 4, 4, 2, iii, 8 Pedal: 16, 16 |
