St. John the Evangelist, Portsea

This organ was built by George Pike England in 1789 and renovated by Dyer in 1901 and Walker in 1938. It was situated at the east end above the Holy Table. An inscription in the organ loft read "Flee from the wrath to come". The church was destroyed in an early air raid.
