St. Matthew's, Southsea

This organ, the work of Hunter & Norman and Beard, was considered one of best instruments in Portsmouth before the war. Sadly, the church and organ were destroyed by incendiary bombs in 1941. The church was rebuilt and renamed "The Church of the Holy Spirit".

Former Organist: John H Jackson
